Sound Familiar?

Linnworks does not go wrong. It gets configured wrong and left.

Three things behind almost every Linnworks problem we are called about.

Overselling nobody can explain

Stock says twelve, six channels each think they can sell twelve, and the first busy weekend produces cancellations across all of them. It is almost always allocation rules, composite SKUs calculating oddly, or a channel mapping pointing at the wrong master item.

Mappings that drifted

SKUs get renamed, listings get relisted, a channel changes its API, and mappings that worked last year now point at nothing. Orders start arriving unmapped and someone begins fixing them by hand every morning.

Rules built by three different people

The Rules Engine is powerful and nobody documented what they built. Rules now contradict each other, orders route to the wrong warehouse, and everyone is afraid to change anything in case it breaks something else.

Inside Full Management

What ongoing management covers.

Choose the retainer and all of this is handled for you — no hand-offs between freelancers, one team accountable for the account.

How Onboarding Works

You’ll know exactly what happens next.

No vague discovery phase. Here is how a Linnworks project runs, step by step.

Week 1

Audit & Scope

We look at the configuration before proposing changes to it.

  • Channels, mappings and rules audited
  • A named user created for us
  • Problems ranked by what they cost
  • Scope and fixed price agreed
Weeks 2–5

Configure & Test

Built and proven on your data, not in theory.

  • Mappings and stock rules corrected
  • Routing rules built and tested
  • Shipping services mapped
  • Tested against live orders before switchover
Ongoing

Maintain & Extend

Configuration decays if nobody watches it.

  • Mappings maintained as listings change
  • New channels added when you expand
  • Rules reviewed and pruned
  • Monthly reconciliation report

Fit

Is this right for you?

We'd rather tell you now than three months in.

A good fit if…

  • You sell on more than one channel and stock accuracy is starting to hurt
  • You are overselling and cannot work out why
  • You inherited a Linnworks account nobody fully understands
  • You are moving off spreadsheets and want it done once, properly
  • You want the configuration documented so your team can own it

Probably not if…

  • You sell on a single channel with a handful of SKUs
  • You want a system with no setup investment at all
  • You are unwilling to do a physical stock count before going live
  • You expect stock accuracy without warehouse discipline behind it
  • You need a one-hour consultation rather than implementation work

Linnworks FAQ

Common questions

Do you need access to my Linnworks account?

Yes. You create a named user for us in User Management with the permissions you want us to have. We never work from the account holder’s own login, and the access can be removed at any time.

What does Linnworks itself cost?

Linnworks does not publish a price list — it is quoted per business based on your monthly order volume, with add-on modules charged separately. There are figures circulating online that date back years, so we would rather you get a current quote than plan against something outdated. Their subscription is paid to them directly and is not included in our fees.

Is Linnworks the same thing as SkuVault?

Not quite. They are part of the same product family — Linnworks Advanced is the full multichannel order and inventory system, and SkuVault Core is the lighter warehouse product. Which one suits you depends on whether your problem is channels or the warehouse floor, and we will say so honestly.

Linnworks includes onboarding — why would I pay you as well?

Their onboarding gets the system switched on and explains how it works. It does not sit with your data, design your allocation rules around how you actually trade, or rebuild the SKU structure you inherited. We scope our work around theirs rather than duplicating it, and we will tell you where their onboarding is enough.

We are overselling right now. How quickly can you help?

Diagnosis starts within a few working days and usually identifies the cause quickly, because there is a short list of things that produce it. Stopping the bleeding comes first, and the underlying fix follows once you can trade safely again.

Can you connect a channel Linnworks does not support directly?

Sometimes, through an integration partner or a custom feed. We will tell you which route applies to your channel and what it realistically involves before you commit to anything.

Will you document what you build?

Yes, and this matters more than it sounds. Undocumented rules are how Linnworks accounts become frightening to touch. Everything we configure is written down and handed over so your team can maintain it without us.

Am I tied into a contract?

No. Projects are fixed scope and fixed price. Management runs month-to-month and can be cancelled with 30 days notice.

Tell us what you need.

Send us your catalogue and what you're trying to fix. We'll come back with a clear scope and a fixed price — no drawn-out sales process.
